Foden is a name with real history behind it. The company was founded in Sandbach, Cheshire in 1856, and by the mid 20th century had become one of Britain’s best-known truck and bus manufacturers, known for offering highly customisable specifications. PACCAR acquired Foden in 1980, and production of the brand ended in 2006 after 150 years, with later models built on DAF running gear.
